The first thing I explain is Bodily injury Liability. Bodily injury pays for expenses, the layout of these houses like medical bills, that you may be held liable to pay if you cause an accident that injures someone else, other than a guest passenger. Just to reiterate, this pays the other persons bills. As far as the guest/passenger, that liability is purchased separately. Some riders exclude Guest Passenger Liability because they think they will never have a passenger. This is something we do not recommend. meimei10086 Now what coverage would pick up medical expenses to the rider? That would fall under Medical Payments, so consider what limits would fit your needs. Another coverage to be aware of is Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist Coverage. This helps pay for expenses that are associated with injury or death from an accident caused by an uninsured, underinsured, or hit-and-run driver. Requirements vary by state, but in most states Bodily injury Liability is the only one required.

The next thing that comes up is property coverage for the motorcycle. Property Damage coverage pays to fix someone else's vehicle you're held responsible for damaging in an accident. Please note, party planning industrysomeone else's vehicle not your motorcycle. If you are looking for property coverage on your bike, consider comprehensive and collision coverage. Comprehensive pays replace or repair your motorcycle if it is stolen, vandalized or damaged in some way other than in a collision. Collision pays for repairs to your motorcycle for damage caused by an accident. As far as motorcycle insurance costs go, comprehensive and collision coverage is not cheap. In some cases, it's two-thirds of the premium. Going without it,tangeryy is not something I recommend.

The last thing I like to discuss with my clients is any customization they have done to their motorcycle. It's very important to let your agent know if you have any customized parts. Some insurance carriers automatically include a certain amount, sometimes up to $3,000. Don't assume it is covered and don't wait until you have a claim to review your policy.

There is a lot that goes into a motorcycle insurance policy, so I highly recommend sitting down with an agent having them review all coverages and deductible options with you.enjoying the amenities Feel free to contact me with any questions or quotes.
